The Via Ferrata where originally made on the First World War in the Dolomites in Italy, to allow soldiers to cross the mountains.
The Via ferrata are no just about holding on the rocks, basically it is a steel cable fixed to the rock where you can find Tibetan bridges and there are holds, pegs, iron ladders, etc. There are different levels of difficulty from beginners to advance. Some equipment is required and the best is to go with an expertise monitor to guide you and show you the technique if you are not used to it.
The journey takes about 2:30 hours to complete the iron path.
